Our middle school publications program empowers students to capture and report on their peersâ school activities. Currently, we rely on borrowed equipment, which limits our students' ability to develop their skills consistently. We seek funding to purchase our camera, lenses, and accessories to provide students with the tools necessary to document school events and athletics with professionalism. Owning our own equipment will enable us to train students in photojournalism, media literacy, and storytelling while enhancing school spirit by sharing high-quality visuals of our sports teams. This grant will support hands-on learning and foster a sense of ownership and pride in our student journalists.
