Thank you for considering us! We would use this cash grant to purchase supplemental materials to help differentiate our curriculum for Math, Reading, and Writing in our Self-Contained Cognitive Impaired/Autism Classroom. This grant will also allow me to purchase supportive material to help each of our students learn at their own pace and own level. Our classroom spans 4 grade levels and many different individual learner academic levels. Each student needs individualized instruction and curriculum. This grant will also allow me to purchase weekly Read-Aloud books along with many leveled literacy, hands-on activities that correspond to each book. These activities will also allow us to work in life skills and social emotional learning. They will also help our non-verbal students build a stronger CORE vocabulary. These resources will give our students confidence in their learning.
