Playground Equipment for Preschoolers
Immaculate Conception Catholic School
A school playground can provide a much-needed break from learning in the classroom. As our preschool program has grown over the past few years, and our days have extended to full days, we are looking to purchase playground equipment to enhance our children's growth and development. Our school does have a play-scape, but our preschoolers can not use it, as it is licensed for Kindergarten and up.
Aside from the obvious exercise and motor skills, a playground for preschoolers can also develop balance and coordination, social skills, and communication/collaboration with others. Self-confidence soars as children master new skills and take on new challenges. Safe outdoor play areas foster good health and emotional well-being.
We are hoping to purchase an Ace Flyer Teeter Totter, a Climb and Crawl Caterpillar Structure, a portable basketball hoop, and possibly other miscellaneous outdoor equipment.
