How do you prepare students for future jobs when 85% of the jobs that will exist in 2030 haven’t been invented yet? You teach children to be innovators and problem solvers. You put STEAM education in their hands.
Thanks to our Classroom Cash Grant last year, we were able to enhance our STEAM program by starting a mobile Makerspace cart for our 2nd graders. This grant will expand our Makerspace cart by helping us incorporate several more STEAM experiences. Supplies needed include, but are not limited to, Legos, LEDs, batteries, copper foil tape, squishy circuits, GoldiBlox, and Qubits.
By adding to our Makerspace cart we hope to create a more flexible learning environment that enables students to innovate, invent, engineer and creatively solve problems. We hope to inspire tomorrow’s innovators and inventors, and prepare them for a bright future.
